Preparing for kick-off in South Africa
July 02, 2007
In 2010 South Africa will play host to the football World Cup. New stadiums are under construction and work is going well, according to FIFA President Sepp Blatter, who paid a visit to the country a fortnight ago. The privilege of organising the world's second biggest sporting event comes with a huge price tag but South Africa, and the nations surrounding it, hope to reap economic benefits from the World Cup. This voiced report comes from Johannesburg, and Maseru in Lesotho.
