Over a year later Bio Care investigation continues
April 07, 2011
ew at 6-- we've learned police have not finished their investigation into bio care owner paul montano. albuquerque police and the district attorney said last week the owner of bio care would not face charges. but that may not be true.e. cristina rodda is live in the newsroom with the new developments. cristina? farrah fasold says she was devastated when she heard the man her family trusted with her father's remains-- would not face charges. so she contacted the minute thumbnail 06:06 pm detective on the case and found out the investigation is "not" finished yet. "very heartbroken and angry as of course anyone would have been in that situation thinking that a man who did such a horrible thing to their dad would get away... that would be horrible. farrah fasold's father harold dillard's body was identified by omi-- weeks after she had received what were suppose to be her father's ashes from then bio care owner paul motnano. when she saw our story last week that montano would not face charges she wanted to know why. "it's not a matter of just not enough evidence it's a matter of we don't have laws on our books that would apply." montano promised many families that their loved ones body would be used for medical research then cremated and returned to the family-- but last year parts of some of those bodies he took in were discovered at a kansas medical waste facility.
