A team of Santa Fe investigators spent Monday morning out on the mesa, after a car was found torched that matched the description of one used in a shooting over the weekend. The white Ford Mustang was found smoldering a little after 8 a.m. Monday, south of the Santa Fe airport in an area known as the Camel Tracks. Now, police are looking into if the car may have been the same one involved in an alleged shoot out Saturday evening that led to a fatal crash on Airport Road which killed an 80-year-old woman and injured three of her family members. So far police have not released any suspect information, other than the description of the Mustang and that three men may have been inside as it sped away. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Santa Fe Police Department immediately at (505) 428-3710.
