hundreds of kids spent the afternoon hunting for eggs and playing games at the state fair grounds. u-n-m's omega delta phi and the casa del rey church joined together for the 13th annual easter egg hunt .. and this year.. they added a carnival. kids got a chance to hunt for 20-thousand candy-filled eggs.. and win raffle prizes. "i got a whole bunch of bags, prizes, and some other stuff. i got this rubber band, i got some cotton candy for free. uh, it's really fun!" all the kids we spoke to said they were having a blast. organizers say there were more than 20 games set up throughout the fair grounds. in seattle, one homeowner woke up to an easter gag gone wild. their yard was covered with peeps. a group of friends descended on minute thumbnail 05:16 pm the home late last night... covering their buddy's yard with hundreds of peeps on a sticks. nearly 900 peeps littered the yard... all on skewers... along with a message on a sign... "happy easter...from your peeps!".
