Humana (NYSE:HUM) reported Q1 EPS of $1.86, in line with consensus estimates. Revenues for the quarter rose 9.7% year-over-year to $9.19 billion, topping consensus estimates of $9.14 billion.The company sees Q2 EPS of $2.00 to $2.10, vs. consensus estimates of $1.94 per share. For 2011, it reaffirmed EPS of $6.70 to $6.90, vs. consensus estimates of $7.03 per share, on revenues of $36.5 billion to $37.0 billion, vs. consensus estimates of $36.85 billion.Michael B. McCallister, Humana's chairman of the board and chief executive officer said, "Our favorable first-quarter results reflect operational discipline in our core businesses and a growing focus on a broader array of businesses designed to help people achieve lifelong well-being.
