Petrohawk Energy Topped Q1 Estimates, Top Line Up 12% YoY

Petrohawk Energy (NYSE:HK) reported Q1 EPS of $0.15, ahead of consensus estimates of $0.14 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 12.3% year-over-year to $491.7 million, ahead of consensus estimates of $475.7 million.The company said that production during the quarter was 17,815 BOEd, up 3% from Q4 2010 and down 2% from Q1 2010 production.
