it could be monday before we see any relief from smoke from a wildfire from arizona. last night- was round two- of smoky conditions. the city of albuquerque air quality alert will stay in effect until monday morning. at last count the particles in the air from the smoke- were 20 times higher than normal. further to the west -- the thicker the haze. photos sent to us from the grants area- show the sun is glowing bright red and the haze is even more intense. this is creating a health threat for people with respiratory illnesses. people are being advised to stay indoors-- and to limit physical activity outside- until the air clears. and- new video this morning of that massive wallow fire in southeast arizona-- as it continues to grow. last night- officials say the blaze grew by 15-thousand acres. the fire has scorched at least 120-thousand acres-- making it now the third largest fire in arizona state history. more than 600 personnel are working to control the fire. no word of any containment. also
