Tuesday marks 1 year anniversary of Emcore shooting

that killed two emcore employees. today, we talked with workers as they try move forward... but not without remembering those who lost their lives. sharon erickson is live near eubank and gibson with our big story. sharon? antoinette... we had the opportunity to speak to some employees at a newly built memorial garden on the emcore campus. as the anniversa gets closer, they say they're continuing to heal from the tragedy. this was the scene on july 12th, minute thumbnail 12:00 pm 2010 outside the emcore offices. gunman "robert reza"... who police believe was trying to harm his ex-girlfriend ... shot six people in the rampage-- killing sharon cunningham and then michelle turner-- before turning the gun on himself. today, we got a look at the memorial garden that was built ... in honor of the emcore employees killed and injured during the shooting rampage. the comany says it's a place for employees to mourn and reflect-- but also look toward the future.
