district court judge pat murdoch -- accused of raping a prostitute -- went before a metro court judge. his team of attorneys tried to get the case against him tossed out. crisitna rodda was right there in the courtroom. she joins us live from metro court, cristina? a packed room here at metro court earlier this afternoon ... to show support for judge murdoch. today his attorneys were not successful at getting the case dismissed. "mr. murdoch is there any statement you'd like to make at this time sir? what's your response to the charges against you?" pat murdoch didn't have any words for the cameras. he was followed into the courtroom by his team of attorneys. "all rise court is now in session." his attorneys tried to get the case dismissed with for lack of probable cause. judge linda rogers told the attorneys that is not a decision for her to make. the hearing was only for the conditions of his release. you must avoid all contact with the alleged victim or anyone else in the case. judge rogers released murdoch on his own recognizance. he had previously been released on a 50-thousand dollar bond. murdoch is accused or raping a prostitute. court documents say he paid for sex eight times... and forced oral sex on the woman twice... even though she said no. she's accused of taping one of those incidents. "we believe that our client judge murdoch is the victim in this case. we will have much more to say after we've had an opportunity to look at the evidence in this case. that's really all we can say at this time." supporters lined the hallway as murdoch walked toward the elevators. even attorney sam bregman was there for murdoch.
