Soldier to be honored in Santa Fe parade

santa fe is planning a hero's welcome for the soldier recently awarded the medal of honor. sgt. first class leroy petry -- a santa fe native -- will be in town on monday for a parade and reception. president obama presented petry with the medal of honor earlier this month at the white house. petry lost his right hand in afghanistan after throwing a grenade back at the enemy.... saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. the parade is set for monday morning at 11. it will run down bishop's lodge road to the santa fe plaza
