more concern tonight about police shootings in albuquerque. this time from a prominent hispanic group. cristina rodda is live at city hall with some pretty strong accusations from lulac's director. the new mexico lulac director says there are even more people killed by albuquerque police not being counted. "we want a police force that is is here to serve and protect the people not go after the people and the hispanic community has been victimized tremendously. since the beginning of last year 19 people have been shot by officers. new mexico lulac director ralph arellanes says this summer at a lulac convention the members voted unanimously for the justice department to step in. jaleah arnn was engaged to allen gomez-- then he was shot and killed by police. she's joining lulac to protest. "i think it is injustice that cops can get away shooting and killing people but it's allowed and it's been going on for so long." arellanes says lulac wants police chief ray schultz to resign. the pressure being put on police these days isn't just coming from-- people who lost a loved one like arnn "everyday there's not a minute that goes by that i don't think about hi. it affects all his family and everybody that loves him. the director of vecino's united tells us city councilor ray garduno agreed to another type of study on what the police department is and isn't allowed to do-- with a report due out in about a month.
