at first it was just gas, but now gatorade, cigarettes and chimichangas. they are the latest questionable purchases coming to light in the case of jerome block junior. gadi schwartz is live in santa fe with how some of those - could mean serious charges for the embattled prc commissioner. there is nothing wrong with going to allsups and picking up some chimichanga's unless your buying them with someone else's state issued fuel account. and you - the tax payers - are picking up the tab. remember last thursday when we confronted jerome block jr and he said - someone would have to be pretty stupid to do some of the things we've uncovered? 17:25 you know gadi, um, it's ah- probably take a stupid person to go that back to back and especially in a day and age where there are camera's and these reports are generated. well guess what? there are - records - and there are camera's. and the search warrant - there is surveillance video of block- using someone else's person pin number from the prc's information to by cigarettes, gatorade, and a couple of chimichangas- as well as a tank of gas. according to the affidavit filed in district court- block was able to charge the purchases to another other prc employees gas account- because he had asked for his social security number. investigators say the other employee had given block his social security number because he thought block was going to wire him money to pay him back for a debt. of course --- all this was after the state had cut block off for questionable expenses on his own gas account. so far at least two prc employees have come forward saying charges they didn't make appeared on their accounts- after giving information to block. the ag's office has not filed any charges against block- we asked to seehe video- they said no.
