arrested... on charges of inappropriate contact with an escort... a 15-year veteran of the albuquerque police department... is out of jail this afternoon. matthew kindle was arrested yesterday-- accused of trying to bribe a prostitute. our sharon erickson tried to get ahold of him... to see what he had to say. she joins us live from nthwest albuquerque... with our top story. sharon? antoinette... a-p-d officer "matthew kindle" was arrested after an undercover sting operation yesterday-- for inappropriate minute thumbnail 12:00 pm contact with an escort. we knocked on his door today... and . a former female a-p-d informant tipped off police that she had been approached by kindle... and the albuquerque police department's "vice unit" set up the sting. a criminal complaint says kindle offered to help the police informant get rid of some charges pending against her, if she would meet him at a motel and exchange sexual favors. police sent a decoy escort... and they say say kindle exposed himself and committed a sexual act. he was immediately arrested. kindle is being charged with one count of demanding or receiving a bribe. he's cop car was towed from the scene and he's been placed on administrative leave. he's expected to make his first court appearance later today. live at . sharon minute thumbnail 12:01 pm erickson. kob eyewitness news 4. in about an hour from now
