Exclusive Interview: NATO chief in Afghanistan

Insurgents in Afghanistan are fighting harder and there are more foreign extremists in the battlefield, the top international commander in the country has told AFP in an exclusive interview. US General Dan McNeill commands NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), which comprises nearly 35,500 troops from 37 nations. Excerpts from the interivew conducted on Sunday, in which McNeill also talks about the rising number of civilian casualties in the war-torn country.
