a former lobo baskeball star known for his abilities on the court-- was in the courtroom for his d-w-i- trial today... but he was granted more time to prepare his case. cristina rodda was there and joins us live in the newsroom now to explain what happened, cristina? dairese gary won't be back in court until november. his attorney asked a metro court judge for more time to interview a third witness in the states' case. the defense attorney claimed the third witness was added a month after the first witness list was submitted and the witness minute thumbnail 12:01 pm had not been made available to the defense to interview. the former lobo star was arrested back in may after crashing into mailboxes at an apartment complex near candelaria and carlisle... he and his attorney didn't have much to say after the hearing.
