Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), AT&T (NYSE:T), and Verizon (NYSE:VZ) are among the 27 companies that have been sued for patent infringement by LVL Patent Group ,which accuses the companies of violating patents related to the wireless recording of transactions, according to report on AppleInsider. Other prominent companies being sued by LVL include Sprint (NYSE:S), Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), Samsung, Motorola (NYSE:MMI), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ), and HTC.Shares of Apple are trading up 0.62% to $404.47 in afternoon trade.Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has a potential upside of 23.6% based on a current price of $404.06 and an average consensus analyst price target of $499.57.
