UNM protest continues

the "occupy wall street" protest has even gained momentum here in albuquerque. protesters minute thumbnail 12:05 pm camped out at u- n-m last night for the second night in a row. the protesters set up what they call "camp coyote" at university and central ... they say they're against corporate greed, bank bailouts and bad employers ... sort of an offshoot of the protests happening in new york. there were rumors that we were gonna have to leave and vacate the unm premises but unofficially we did get word from one of the executive vice presidents at unm pd that we can st for right now. the university is only giving us this official statement saying quote: "the university supports free expression, but has health and safety concerns about the impact of the protest on this historic landscape."
