just about an hour. and this morning they are hoping to find out if the university will allow them to stay overnight. cristina rodda is live at unm to tell us what's next for protesters in today's top story. cristina? protesters are asking the unm board of regents for an overnight permit. at 11:30 this morning the group minute thumbnail 06:01 am occupy albuquerque will formally ask to "occupy yale park" overnight. right now they have an outdoor permit allowing them to occupy yale park from 7am to 10pm. last night at 10 there were still some protestors here when police arrived. but as a group they chose to leave and obey the permit they currently have. at least one protestor was arrested saturday-- for battery and other charges. the protesters marched into a bank and a wal mart -- and albuquerque police say some of them spit on employees. coming up in the next half hour i'll let you know what other options protestors have if they want to camp out overnight. live from yale park cristina rodda kob eyewitness news four. protesters at unm have been speaking out against corporate minute thumbnail 06:02 am greed. the group "occupy albuquerque" has been camped out at u-n-m since october first. they are just one many ongoing protests across the nation.
