two people are recovering this morning after a terrifying home invasion. police say 4 to 5 men busted into their home.. tied them up at gunpoint.. and then took off with a sports car and some guns. it happened overnight near unser and bridge in southwest albuquerque. that's where we find marissa torres live with details in this minute thumbnail 06:01 am morning's top story. marissa what can you tell us? antoinette- police are still trying to track down the suspects. and at this point, have limited descriptions to go off of. police say the two victims were asleep when they heard someone kicking their back door. the 25 year old male victim grabbed a handgun. that's when we're told about 5 men, dressed in dark clothes and wearing masks entered the home- also armed with guns. police say they men identified themselves as apd officers then handcuffed and tied up the victims. the 25 year old was then kicked in the head. police say the suspects then took off with a handgun and a rifle. but that's wasn't all. the suspects also made off with a 2006 red dodge viper. it would look something like this. the victims were able to free themselves and run to a minute thumbnail 06:02 am neighbors to call police. the male victim was treated for a bump on his head. the other victim is a 21 year old woman. we're told she's okay. in the mean time- police continue to search for the offenders. anyone with information is asked to call apd. live in southwest albuquerque marissa torres kob eyewitness news 4
