we have new developments in the investigation into an overnight home invasion. albuquerque police have located the stolen 2006 dodge viper taken from a couples garage. but the group of men behind the armed robbery are still on the loose. marissa torres is live in southwest albuquerque marissa.. what can you tell us? antoinette- we're here near unser and bridge. the home invasion took place inside this gated community- encanta village. and it's minute thumbnail 12:02 pm where one couple had the scare of their life. here's the 2006 dodge viper that was stolen from their home. police found it early this morning just blocks away in another subdivision. it was instandly dusted for prints and evidence. the victims were too shaken to go on camera. but one did tell us the gas tank was empty. so he never expected the suspects to make it far. everything started around midnight. 4 to 5 suspects barged into the home, tied up the couple, beat the 25 year old male victim.. then took off with a guns and the car. now neighbors are questioning their safety. "people follow eachother in, it's not like the gate, it's not like it stops at one, instead of following it, have people punch in a code per person, so that it doesn't make it scary."
