Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) announced its quarterly dividend of 17 cents per share, an increase of about 31% over its prior dividend in August of 13 cents. The company also reported sales growth ahead of expectations, a 29% jump in profits, and said it would repurchase an additional 20 million shares.
