decided tonight. city council will meet to vote on the issue-- but that may not be the final decision. danielle todesco is live at coors and quail to explain. danielle? antoinette... i just spoke with mayor berry who tells me whatever is decided by council tonight... he's following the decision of the voters...who last month narrowly voted to have them taken down. that vote happened in early october. and it was only for public input-- ultimately-- city council was supposed to have the final say. minute thumbnail 12:01 pm yesterday, we spoke with several council members...and while a lot of them voiced support of the voters' decision... a few told us they're still for the cameras. mayor berry says while he plans to follow the voters... but he wants to follow correct procedure to make sure this action avoids a lawsuit later on.
