"Come out to new mexcio give it a shot I promise you won't be disappointed." to give you a comparison. most new mexico ski resorts have more than 40 inches of snow at their bases. vail, colorado... has 19 inches. back to you. and last week's massive snowstorms made a dent in our long-lasting drought. parts of the gila are at 174 percent of normal when it comes to snow pack. and areas in the capitan mountains report 144 percent of what it usually has at this point in the season. the sangres and the jicarella mountains are also at or above normal from the storms.
