The Byte - Ultrabook sales, Space Shuttle Discovery, Fujitsu robotic teddy bear, DARPA Robotics Challenge
April 16, 2012
Ultrabooks are expected to sell better this year due to an increase in model selection regardless of tablet competition. Space Shuttle Discovery was placed on top of a modified 747 in preparation for its ride to Washington, D.C. on April 17. Fujitsu showed off its robotic teddy bear at an open house outside Tokyo. DARPA is looking for robots that can drive vehicles, use human tools, and assist in evacuation operations in its Robotics Challenge.
