French gendarme kills colleague, children, himself

A French gendarme shot a superior officer dead in a Paris suburb Friday before killing his own two children and finally turning the gun on himself, police said. French President Nicolas Sarkozy went to the scene to join Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie who rushed to the barracks after being informed of the deaths.
