Blast in Baghdad square

A bomb blast ripped through a crowd of labourers in a square in Baghdad's Shi'ite Sadr City district on Monday killing at least 25 people and wounding 60, Iraqi Interior Ministry sources said. The deaths occurred on the same day the U.S. military said deaths in Iraq had climbed to 100, making October the deadliest month for American troops in almost two years.
