Dow hits 14,000 milestone

The Dow Jones Industrial Average touched 14,000 for the first time ever thanks in part to a strong start to the earnings season. Better-than-expected quarterly profits from the likes of Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and Merrill Lynch, along with signs of tame inflation served as supports for the modest rally.Speaker: Fred Dickson, chief market strategist, D.
