Senate Dems pull all-nighter

The Democratic-led U.S. Senate began a rare around-the-clock session on Tuesday (July 17) before a vote on Wednesday. Senators are due to vote on three major amendments to a defense funding bill, one of which would require withdrawal of US troops by the end of April 2008.
