Barasouk and Kolodinsky win bronze over Asahi and Shiratori

In the bronze-medal match, Barasouk and Kolodinsky captured the $16,000 third-place prize with a 21-19, 21-15 win over Asahi and Shiratori in 50 minutes. It was the Russians' third bronze medal this season. Asahi and Shiratori, who split $12,000 for fourth place, were the first Japanese team since 1989 to play in a Swatch semifinal.
