Pursuing Paris's green dream

Electric trams, low-cost bicycle rentals, dedicated bus lanes and, before long, commuter buses. Paris has pulled out all stops in its efforts to offer environmentally friendly ways of getting around town. The left-wing city government has made transport reform one of its top priorities, winning kudos from green-minded residents if also some irritation from car drivers.
