Pollution blights sacred Indian river

Revered as one of the most scared sites in India, the Yamuna River has been dying a slow death from pollution for decades despite the investment of millions of dollars to preserve its ecosystem. There is more than the environment at stake. Fourteen million of Delhi's residents rely on the river for their water. Now a new drive by the government to clean up the river before the 2010 Commonwealth Games is hoping to return the Yamuna to its former glory. A voiced report. Images filmed July 2007.
