Concession to quell Nepal violence

The government of Nepal has agreed to give more parliamentary seats to the ethnic Madhesi people. The move comes after two weeks of anti-government protest that has left nine people dead. Madhesis, who make up 30 percent of Nepal's population, feel that have been sidelined after a peace pact between the government and former Maoist rebels.
