Venetian ups the stakes in Macau

Las Vegas tycoon Sheldon Adelson has opened the world's biggest casino in the former Portuguese colony of Macau. Keen to attract high rollers from mainland China, the Venetian Macau comes on the heels of Adelson's earlier success with the Sands, his first Macau casino.
