Ohuruogu wins 400-meter title

Christine Ohuruogu of Great Britain powered her way down the stretch of the women's 400-meter final to win the gold medal in Osaka. Ohuruogu and compatriot Nicola Sanders overcame the Jamaican Novlene Williams at the line for a one-two finish of 49.61 and 49.65 seconds. Williams placed third with a time of 49.66 seconds.
