Dutch rethink liberal drugs policy

Joints, space cake and magic mushrooms... The Netherlands has long been a haven for people seeking a way to kick back, speed up or just tune out. A huge number of tourists head to Dutch towns to buy drugs that are illegal back home. But the country's liberal policy is now under threat following the death of a 17-year-old French girl who jumped off a bridge after eating magic mushrooms. The accident has prompted much soul-searching in the Netherlands and led parliament to call for a crackdown on drugs. An AFPTV voiced report.
