Ebola outbreak in DR Congo

International medical agencies have begun airlifting supplies to the affected area, where at least five people are known to have died from the highly infectious Ebola haemorrhagic fever for which there is no known cure or vaccine. People contracting Ebola suffer fever, stomach pain and internal bleeding. It's fatal in up to 90 percent of cases.
