Moon shot 'princess'

Japan takes a big step in its space exploration race with China, India and the U.S. by launching its first lunar probe. Scientists hope the probe will give them clues about the origin and evolution of the moon. A rocket carrying the three-tonne SELENE orbiter blasted off from the Japanese space centre on the remote southern island of Tanegashima.
