Protecting man's best friend

Police dogs in Russia are getting used to a new uniform - flak jackets - which protect them from bullets, knives and fragments. Statistics show that well over half all army and police operations are successful if dogs are used. Human lives often depend on them so scientists in Saint Petersburg decided to design special jackets to protect their four-legged friends.
