Heavy snow blankets much of U.S.

A major snowstorm was moving through the U.S. Midwest Tuesday and is expected to blanket the mid-Atlantic coast. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning covering a large part of the U.S. midwest. It was expected to reach New York later this week.
