Calls for negotiation in Myanmar

U.N. envoy Ibrahim Gambari met detained Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi on Sunday but has not held talks with the head of the junta on ending a bloody crackdown on protests against military rule, diplomats said.
