Rail strike in Germany

Deutsche Bahn, Germany's national rail operator, has been locked in a month-long wage dispute with the GDL train drivers union. Deutsche Bahn had hoped that GDL would sign a wage deal that it struck with two other unions, which will see salary increases of 4.5 percent.
