Mudslides have come within two meters of damaging some of Peru's mysterious Nazca lines. Mudslides in southern Peru have come within two meters of damaging some of the most famous Nazca lines - the ancient set of geometric forms and animal figures that continue to baffle scientists. Eduardo Herran, an air tour pilot operator for the Nazca lines says,"We have never seen so much water running over the desert, but at the same time we have been able too verify that no major damage has been done to the bigger Nazca design except for other than one line. But without a doubt this is the biggest amount of water we have seen enter this zone."
