NEW TREATMENT AVAILABLE FOR PROSTATE CANCER

Data from two trials presented today at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting demonstrate a Taxotere-based regimen extends the life of some men with an advanced form of prostate cancer. The trials, which involved nearly 1,800 men, also demonstrate that a Taxotere-based regimen significantly reduces the risk of death by 24 and 20 percent, respectively.
