Data shows treatment prevents joint damage in subset of patients with early rheumatoid arthritis

There's encouraging news for some of the millions of people who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, or RA. New data presented this week at a major medical meeting show that an RA regimen recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration as first-line therapy for treating moderate to severe RA patients can help change the course of joint damage for some with RA.
