TREATMENT IMPROVES SURVIVAL FOR PROSTATE CANCER PATIENTS

The study, just published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, showed that administering Zoladex following radiation therapy reduces the risk of progression of prostate cancer and significantly improves survival. The study conducted by the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, which is a clinical research component of the American College of Radiology, was one of the longest and largest studies of it type.
