MOVIEGOERS LOVE THE THEATER EXPERIENCE BUT NOT ALWAYS THY NEIGHBOR

Going to the movies continues to be one of America's favorite pastimes. But occasionally, the experience can be less than enjoyable because of bad movie manners. A new survey reveals moviegoers pet peeves and how theatres are responding. The survey conducted for Cingular Wireless finds cell phone-related behavior tops the list of biggest movietime pet peeves. In fact a third of those surveyed admitted their cell phones have rung during a movie. But only 3-percent identified popcorn munching or candy rustling as a problem.
