File sharers may risk identity theft

Experts say some P2P users are being tripped up by a default setting in file-sharing software, which if not turned off when downloaded, may open up one's entire hard drive to prying eyes. Sites such as LimeWire say they have taken steps to alert users to the risks of inadvertently sharing confidential information. Conway Gittens reports.
