 We've got a great new Content Provider live in the Voxant Newsroom. Expanded Books, a California-based online video company, offers up truly unique video on nearly every topic imaginable - from celebrity interviews to what your house will look like in 500 years.
Mark Frauenfelder, a founder of mega-blog BoingBoing, offers up a ton of advice on how to use the web effectively as a business tool in his book, "Rule The Web." Expanded Books has an interesting take on the book that involves aliens and the fear of uninvited probing.

| The Taxman Commeth |
 My office is full of checks. You users out there do a great job embedding content and getting impressions, but without your tax forms I can’t send you the money you’ve earned. Simply put, I need all the tax forms from registered users by Jan. 15. If we’ve received your tax form by then, you’ll get a check at the end of January with the money you’ve earned from December. And even if you haven’t hit the $50 threshold for payment, send your tax form in now so you’ll get a check just as soon as you hit that magic $50 mark. We hate to be sticklers about this, but we need to be up-to-date in our payment system. So starting in 2008, unclaimed checks will be voided after 90 days.

| Snappy and Clever Closing: Death and Taxes |
As Ben Franklin once said, nothing is certain in life except for death and taxes. That's true on the internet, too - no matter how 2.0 we all want to be, we’ve still got to file old-skool paperwork with Uncle Sam before we can get our web venture running.
At Voxant, we're waiting to pay a lot of you. Judging by some of the chatter out there in cyberspace, many of you are waiting for us to pay you, too. Let's stop this madness and get the checks where they need to be (namely, in your hands). Do us a solid here, people -send us your tax forms so we can pay you. After all, when it comes to pleasing Uncle Sam, these forms aren’t just a good idea. They're the law.
