Newsroom Update for 4/1/2009
Good news -- Our payment policy has recently changed such that there is NO PAYMENT CAP for advertising impressions accumulated in a calendar month. Advertising revenue is only paid on fulfilled impressions. Please bear in mind that impression traffic generated in the U.S. is more likely to be monetized and earn revenue than impressions generated outside the U.S. due to our current advertising agreements.
TheNewsRoom Goes Video-Only
In mid-December, TheNewsRoom switched to video only. This means that any text or image players on distributorsâ€™ sites must be switched out for video players. Any text or image players or feeds left on distributorsâ€™ site will show an error message urging the switch to video. We apologize for the inconvenience; but, we're confident that distributors will find fantastic videos among TheNewsRoomâ€™s vast catalog to replace any text or images previously used. Advanced Options Now Available
TheNewsRoom has revised its embed process. Now, distributors have access to the same great choices as before in the standard embed process â€“ plus new features in Advanced Options.
