Consumer incomes fall, but mood rises

U.S. personal incomes were down, while consumer inflation rose to a 17-year, but consumers looked on the bright side in August. On Wall Street.....the Dow tumbled 171 points to 11,543. The S&P 500 shed 17 points to 1,282. The Nasdaq dropped 44 points to 2,367. Crude oil reversed early gains to lose 13 cents to settle the week at $115.46 a barrel.
